Wow! I just realized how long it’s been since we wrote on this blog!

Back in May, we attended the NKR Ozark Empire Goat Conference and Spotlight Sale. It was great to meet other goat breeders, and to listen to some good speakers on different topics such as goat health, farm and business management, and more. At the sale, we purchased two does and a really good buck. Here’s a picture of him:

We are currently trying to sell some bucks that we don’t need… if you’re interested, please contact us. You can see the bucks here.

Please pray for David! He had an accident a few days ago, causing him to have to take it easy for quite a while. While cutting some firewood, the chainsaw slipped and cut into his foot about a half inch. He missed the main artery, but he did sever the tendon to his big toe, and took a small chip out of a bone. We rushed him to the hospital and they were able to do surgery to repair the tendon, and he came home yesterday. He will have to rest and mostly be in bed for about six weeks while his foot heals, but we are thankful that it was no worse than it was.

Well, that’s all for now folks. Have a great Thanksgiving season! “Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name!” ~ Psalm 100:4b
